Create a New Folder on a PC

1. Navigate to the location where you want to create the new folder. This could be on your desktop, in a specific drive, or within an existing folder.

2. Right-click on an empty space in the desired location.

3. In the context menu that appears, hover your cursor over the ‘New’ option.

4. Another menu will expand to the side. Click on ‘Folder’ from this menu.

5. A new folder will appear in the location with the default name ‘New folder.’ You can type a new name for the folder and press Enter to save it.

Create a New Folder on a Mac

1. Open Finder by clicking on the icon in the dock.

2. Navigate to the location where you want to create the new folder.

3. Click on ‘File’ in the top menu bar.

4. Select ‘New Folder’ from the dropdown menu. Alternatively, you can use the shortcut ‘Shift + Command + N’ to create a new folder.
